I had cataract surgery at Cathedral Eye Clinic. Before I underwent the procedure, I had difficult with a number of activities. Driving was difficult, and I didn’t have any confidence when climbing steps or flights of stairs. Reading was becoming very difficult, and I had to rely a lot upon my daughters to get around the place. 

I got the job last Saturday week, and I just can’t believe the difference – it’s a completely new world to me. I have been able to drive again after four or five years – it’s just fantastic. I live in the country, so being able to drive into the city again has made a huge difference to my life. 

It became clear to me that I needed treatment after I suffered a fall whilst holidaying in Spain.
